{  Ashton + Reid  |  Ault Park + Downtown Cincinnati  }

 

I must say, seeing photos from this session has me missing normal life! A month and a half into the Coronavirus shutdown and I’m itching to get back to the days of seeing friends, working from coffee shops, and going on adventures with new friends like these! Ashton and Reid’s engagement session was one of the few that we squeezed into the New Year before all of the changes hit.  My husband and I are looking forward to celebrating the wedding of these two late May. Plans might look at little different, but the celebration is the same!

One thing I love about exploring cities is finding those patches of nature amidst the urban hustle. Ault Park is one of those parks nestled in a suburb (a very cool one at that…) just outside of the Cincinnati. This pavilion is just the classiest and the woods are perfect for golden hour.  For Ashton and Reid’s engagement we started AND finished at Ault Park and took a little excursion in the middle to one of their favorite areas downtown.

Reid came into their shoot knowing that he wanted to recreate a Bob Dylan album cover, which was such a fun personal touch to the session! (Check out the photos of the two of them walking down an alleyway and then check out the look alike here!)

We also had to take a quick pit stop at my favorite mural in Cincinnati (also featured in Gaby and Lousson’s engagement session) because I couldn’t help myself. 🙂
