My dear friend Anna, of Copper Paper Co.,  is an artist and paper goods extraordinaire based out of Denver, CO. With amazing florals and patterns gracing her cards, prints, notebooks- it was such a treat to get together and document some of the different products in her Winter 2018 and Spring 2019 inventory! We also of course had to get Anna in front of the camera because she is a natural. 😉

Our Spring shoot lasted about 2 hours and was a total collaboration of ideas all taking place in my brightly lit kitchen! It can be daunting as a small business owner to know where to start when it comes to taking professional images of your product that accurately reflect your brand. In Anna’s case, we opted for a “lifestyle” session over traditional studio product shots in hopes that a light-hearted, energetic and feminine atmosphere would compliment the overall feel of her products. If you’re a small business needing to freshen up your photos, start by asking yourself these two questions:  1. What will I be using them for?   2. What mood/message do I want to convey?
