We had so much fun adventuring with Brandon and Katie at the Clifton Gorge. While the little hiking trail had a lot to offer, we definitely did some off roading to the river’s edge to enjoy some views off the beaten path! Thankfully Brandon and Katie were up for the hike.

Some of my favorite places to shoot are the ones that don’t give away their location. The “this could be anywhere” vibe helps make the final product timeless, and even dreamier in a way. It helps that the Clifton Gorge is one of those hidden gems you come upon in the middle of nowhere (in this case, Ohio farmland). Pull into the random parking lot, follow the sounds of rushing water, lean over the edge of the barrier, and you’ll see CLIFFS with a river below. it’s shocking. A real, “WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?” moment. I love surprising unsuspecting out of towners with the beauty of this place and was so happy that Brandon and Katie agreed to it for their engagement session.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19 and our upcoming move, we won’t get to celebrate the wedding of this sweet couple which is one of the biggest bummers of the season. Wish you the best Katie & Brandon! So glad we still had the chance to share this fun afternoon together!
